Hello ladies, In this week’s Derech Hashem discussion, we revisited Chapter 1 and explored the deeper meaning of perfection—what it truly is, what it’s not, and how to live in alignment with it. Here are some of the highlights we unpacked together: 🌿 What is Perfection?Perfection isn’t about being flawless. It’s about becoming someone who earns the good in life through conscious effort. God’s perfection is inherent, but for us, perfection is something we strive toward—through choice, action, and growth. 🎯 Accuracy Over EgoWe redefined perfection as accuracy—not performance. It's not about doing things "perfectly," but doing them with honesty, clarity, and alignment. Like a shoe that fits just right or puzzle pieces that click together, accuracy brings satisfaction. ⚙️ Functionality is SpiritualForm follows function. In our physical homes and emotional lives, what we build must work—not just look good. True perfection shows up when things serve their purpose with grace. 💪 The Discipline–Humility ConnectionDiscipline isn’t punishment. It’s the pathway to humility—the kind that calms the ego and opens us to lasting joy. Whether it's committing to a yoga class, parenting consistently, or building a schedule, discipline helps us grow into our highest selves. ✨ The Outcome is JoyWhen we earn something, we feel the pleasure of ownership. The joy is in the effort, the awareness, and the growth. That’s the kind of joy God wants us to experience—a joy that comes from within. We ended the session inspired to live with more clarity, alignment, and authenticity—reaching for the kind of perfection that brings us closer to the Divine.
